How to Play Project Rubika
Welcome to the Project Rubi-Ka community, we hope you feel very comfortable here and that you can find all of the information that you need. We’re a friendly and welcoming group so don’t be shy to get involved and participate in the project. If you have any questions, please check the Project Rubi-Ka FAQ or ask in general Getting started with Project Rubi-KaNOTE: You will NOT be able to create an account unless the server is currently open and available. At present, the server is only online during short testing periods. If the server is not online, please be patient and wait for another testing period to be announced!
- Create an account on our Player Portal. This is your master account, which isn’t the same thing as a game account. You should only ever have one master account, and you use it to manage your game accounts and to access PRK services such as our items database.
- Create a new game account. A game account is what you use to login to our game server, Ithaca. Once you’re logged in to your master account in the player portal, click the Game Accounts link in the navigation menu, and then click the plus (+) button to create a new game account.
- Download the Project Rubi-Ka Launcher. This is the tool that you use to update the game client and launch your game. You can extract the launcher anywhere you like on your computer.
- Start the launcher and download/update the game. This is just a matter of double-clicking PRK.Launcher.exe wherever you extracted the launcher files to, and clicking on the Patch button at the bottom right.
- Launch the game. Once patching is finished, click on the Ithaca server and click Play to start the game.
- Login to your game account. Type in the username and password for the game account you created in step 2, and click Login. You’re now able to create a character and play on Project Rubi-Ka’s server.
