I’m currently working on a new EQMac-era server project focused on capturing that classic old-school feel while bringing something new to the table through custom development.
This project is being built around the EQMac-era client and the kind of experience many of us remember, but it is not meant to be just another copy of the past. The goal is to create something that feels true to that era while also introducing custom zones, custom mobs, custom mechanics, and unique source-code-driven features that make the world feel fresh again.

Right now, I’m looking for staff and people who want to learn, contribute, and grow with the project.

We welcome people of all skill levels, especially those who have an interest in learning more about:

- C++
- Lua
- server development
- testing and bug reporting
- custom content ideas and project support
You do not need to be an expert to be involved. A willingness to learn, help, and be part of building something meaningful matters just as much as experience.
I can handle editing the source code for new features, fixes, and custom systems, so this project has room to grow in ways that go beyond a standard server setup. The vision is to build something that brings back that classic EQMac atmosphere while giving it new life through thoughtful changes and original ideas.
Also, for those who appreciate the authentic side of things, original hardware is encouraged, but absolutely not required.

This post is simply to introduce the project and connect with people who may be interested in helping shape it. More detailed information will come later.
